Here's what's included when you book a room at the Victoria Hall.

Kitchen
You'll have full access to our well-equipped kitchen which includes kettle, hot water boiler, oven, hob, warming plates, fridge, and glass cleaner. All guests are welcome to help themselves to hot water and tea, though you may want to bring your own milk, coffee and any extra snacks.
For an added fee (£2.50/person) we can lay out tea, coffee and biscuits for you.
In order to keep the kitchen easy to use for everyone all we ask is that you leave the kitchen tidy and clean as you found it.
Room Equipment
ach room is equipped to be as versatile and easy to use as possible. Most rooms have a projector and screen, versatile layout options, wi-fi, extension leads, and access to the kitchen.
The Main Hall has more specialised equipment, such as a sound system & stage lighting (with control desks), access to dressing rooms, and tables. If you hire the Main Hall there is no extra cost to use these features, we only ask that you inform us first.
For more details about individual room features, see the 'Venue & Room Hire' page.

Your Own Layout
When you book, you can change the layout of the room to suit your needs. Whether you need cinema-style seating, a large conference table, or the entire floor space, you're able to set the room up as you wish. Talk to us about your event when you submit a booking form so we can help you get the most out of the space.

Wi-Fi
We have free Wi-fi available for all hall users. The password can be found inside the room you've booked.

Here are some additional points to consider when you book a room.

Staffing
If you've hired one of our staff to act as Fire Warden (usually in the case of larger public events such as a concert or party) they are on hand to assist in the event of an emergency and provide basic technical support. Their primary role to act as a point of contact in the event of an emergency, though they may be able to help you with other things if their role allows.

Parking
The Victoria Hall has no on-site parking. The nearest car park is Main Street Car park which is only a walk across the road and is free after 6pm.

Booking Times
When you book, give yourself enough time to get here early to set-up, as well as some time after the session to clear up to make the room ready for the next hirer.
For example, if you were running an art class between 2-3pm, we recommend a booking of 1:30-3:30 to allow setup and takedown time.

It's a Shared Space
To keep hiring costs low we rely on hirers to clean up after themselves to allow the next person in to use the space quickly and without inconvenience. If a space is left unreasonably messy, we may have to charge the hirer extra to cover cleaning costs. Simply put, be mindful of the shared space, and leave the room as you find it. Report any breakages or mess as soon as possible.
