Lake District Music presents Trilogy Ensemble, showcasing the flute, harp and viola, combining to offer wondrous variations of colour and subtlety; perfect for Bax's noble elegy, expressive and sweet, dreaming dreams of times long past. The harp evokes ancient bards in the trio's folksong arrangements, plus a brilliant new commission from Elderton-Lewis.

A sublime but unusual instrument combination loved by audiences worldwide for its versatility and golden sound. Chamber music for this trilogy of instruments was pioneered by Claude Debussy, drawn to the colours of the instrumental sounds. Trilogy Ensemble founded in 2019 by three musicians and chamber music lovers - Amy-Jayne, Bethan and Henrietta. We bring the thrill of experiencing live chamber music to local communities.
