The Victoria Hall has a proud history of meeting the cultural, social and community needs of people in Grange, the Cartmel Peninsular and the wider region. Through 125 years of change it has played a vital role in enhancing the resilience of the local community and creating cohesion for them and the visitors who have been a feature of our town’s economy from before the hall was built.

For 125 years the Victoria Hall has maintained its relevance in people’s lives while growing into its current role as a vibrant focal point for community activities, culture, business, education and art.​ We plan to create a relevant, vibrant identity, that looks to the future while respecting and building on the rich history of the past. We want future generations to love and use the Victoria Hall as much as those of the last 125 years. Project 125 is our plan to help us to future proof the Victoria hall - into the next 125 years.
